The Mountain Trails Point Locator and Romer is one of range of Mountain Trails Graphical Mountain Aids/Aides Memoire which are invaluble tools for walkers, mountaineers, trekkers and climbers.

Overview

Especially useful to anyone undertaking NNAS, WGL, ML or DoE, the Mountain Trails Point Locator & Romer's main purpose is to enable the quick and accurate determiniation of the six-figure grid of a feature on a 1:25,000 OS Map. In fact, with good vision, it is accurate enough to be able to give an eight-figure grid to within about 20m.

A small ‘aide-memoire’ on the Card serves as a quick reminder of how to determine the grid of a feature.
